Eocortex, developer of video surveillance software is releasing a new version 4.1.
Version Eocortex 4.1contains optimized maps and plans which will boost control efficiency of large-scale facilities equipped with distributed video systems.
Multiple layers
Starting from version Eocortex 4.1 you can create and set up new objects directly on the map, click the floor layouts and view streams of the installed cameras and connected devices. This will enable the operator to combine one window mode with all of the needed data about the infrastructure and cameras displayed in a clear and friendly manner.
You can build your own structure of video surveillance objects on the map, conveniently switch between them and quickly switch to floor layouts for more effective floor monitoring.
Friendly navigation
The new version greatly improved the way to navigate around the video system devices layout by:
- user tags which will allow you to create your own camera classification (outdoor, indoor, parking lot, office space etc.).
- pop-up description of the device when pointing at the icon (plugged-in modules, tags, data etc.);
- filters for the system devices: sound streaming of the camera, PTZ, alarm inputs/outputs, video analytic modules and their tags.
- now it’s possible to set and modify the flexible camera angle of view at the plans and view the stream in the angle of view window;
- devices connected via dry contacts are displayed on the plan.
All of this will help to significantly enhance the convenience and efficient control of the distributed objects, since CCTV operators will be able to easily and promptly find the location, building or camera they require and check the situation immediately .
Situation under control
The CCTV system features the provides such features to minimize the failure to miss critical and potentially important hazards allowing the operator to respond to the alarm in time as:
- events log, which listing all of the video system alarms with the ability to make immediate camera change-over on the plan;
- hybrid layer (layout + cameras network) enabling to view the layout and the video streaming in one display, also to click the alarm event directly in the layout and view the video stream.
The new maps and plans features improve the convenience and efficiency of video surveillance systems of the large-scale distributed objects.
Latest features will be available to users of Eocortex 4.1 in July.
